Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the ones methodmediahouse.com uses and how to control them.
Before you choose
The public site sets no cookies when you first visit, and none when you send a form. Analytics stay off until you accept them.
If you accept analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how people arrive, and whether forms work. Google sets these cookies:
- `_ga`, which distinguishes visitors, kept for up to 2 years;
- `_ga_<container-id>`, which keeps the state of a visit, kept for up to 2 years.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Remembering your choice
Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we do not ask on every visit. It stays until you change it or clear your browser data.
Studio sign-in
The studio's private admin area uses one essential cookie, `mmh_admin`, to keep staff signed in. It is set only on the admin pages and never for visitors.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
